(Source: Hampshire County Council) Friday, 05 Jun 2015 Seven school expansion projects in north Hampshire, totalling just over £20 million, have been given the go ahead by Hampshire County Council. The works will provide just under 1,000 additional school places in the area to meet the increased demand. In common with other parts of the county, Basingstoke, Hook, Hartley Wintney and Farnborough areas are experiencing growing demand for school places due to rising birth rates, new housing developments and more families moving to Hampshire.
